S21 series is Hengstler’s premium optical sine/cosine incremental encoder, specially designed for high-speed CNC spindles, high-precision servo motors and dynamic motion control equipment.Model 0 548 004 S21-2048.004 outputs analog sine and cosine wave signals (Sin/Cos) instead of square-wave ABZ pulses. Servo drive/CNC system subdivides each sine period into thousands of fine interpolation counts to achieve ultra-fine positioning resolution and ultra-smooth low-speed spindle running, effectively eliminating workpiece surface tool marks.Adopts 10mm standard 1:10 tapered solid shaft for precise friction coupling with spindle mandrel; radial outgoing shielded cable, built-in multi-stage signal monitoring function to detect undervoltage, optical disc damage and LED aging, ensuring long-term stable operation in metal cutting workshops. Widely used for imported CNC lathes, machining centers and high-end servo spindle replacement spare parts.
